[CheckGmail]Notifiche per le tue nuove email su UBUNTU 9.10 e derivati

CheckGmail è una fantastica utility per gli utenti che usano Gmail che , effettua ogni N secondi/minuti un controllo sulla nostra/nostre casella di posta e ci avverte, con una notifica di eventuali nuovi messaggi.

Su ubuntu 9.10 e i suoi derivati, per installare CheckGmail, basta digitare:

sudo apt-get install checkgmail

Il programma che mi dava davvero fastidio era mail-notification, che uso per avere le notifiche da GMail. E quindi ho provato altri programmi fino a trovarne uno davvero fantastico: CheckGMail.

CheckGMail si mette nella traybar di ubuntu, e finché non vi arriva una nuova e-mail, non segnalerà nulla, e in più, non consuma neanche un mega di ram in background.

Per installare gli aggiornamenti di CheckGmail, basta digitare da terminale:

sudo checkgmail -update
